For the past 20 years, Tracy Parker has been cultivating a love of dance and the arts with children and adults of all ages. She began dance as a small child, but soon discovered a love and passion for the theatre and clogging!
Throughout her competitive clogging days, Tracy went on to win 1996 East Coast Clogging Grand Champion, several first place and overall trophies through the National Clogging Hall of Fame and was granted a position on the coveted “All American Clogging Team”. She has been a certified clogging instructor for almost 20 years.
Apart from clogging, at an early age, she began using her dance and voice training in other areas such as performing on the Grand Ole Opry, winning Teen Miss and Coastal Miss Brunswick County, performing in the “Carolina Music Celebration Variety Show” at the Celebrity Theatre, and later performing in the Christmas show at the Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach, SC. Tracy served as the choreographer for the West Brunswick High School Show Choir from 2006-2011, as well as choreographer for several high school musicals throughout the North Carolina Public School System.
In addition to her roles at BSD, she is the Director of Music at Beulah Baptist Church in Calabash. She resides in Ash with her husband, Jeremy and children, Isaac and Selah.
