Leigh Anne got her start at the age of 2.5 at a small dance studio in Dunmore, PA, 29 years later, she is now able to share her love of dance with others. Throughout high school, Leigh Anne was highly involved not only dancing, but cheering, baton twirling, singing in chorus, being part of her track team and joining various clubs. She began assistant dance teaching at age 10, then choreographing just a few years later. Moving into college, she attended Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA, where she received her Bachelors in Dance with a Minor in Business Administration. She continued to stay involved in school by holding office and achieving top awards at Graduation. While in college she took the time to learn about stage design and took part in multiple theater plays and dance performances. Upon completion of her dance degree, she became an adjunct dance teacher at a Community College along with becoming a member of a professional Afro Contemporary Dance Company. She performed and choreographed dances all over Pennsylvania and New York. Once Leigh Anne met her future husband, they moved to NC where she began teaching for the students at Brunswick School of Dance. Right away, she fell in love with the teachers and students and has made BSD her home forever. Since moving to the area, Leigh Anne has gotten married, had 2 children, and achieved her dream of running her own dance studio. Beyond dancing, Leigh Anne loves arts and crafts projects, baseball, football, and spending time with her family.
